If you decide to move forward with your counseling, this is what you can expect: During the AWG case review, we are going to spend a lot more time with you just really diving into some of the deeper details of your entire health history. What we’re doing with functional nutrition is focusing on trying to address the reasons why someone may have a specific sign or symptom such as weight gain or a recent auto immune diagnosis. We’re looking at things like hormones, stress, sleep, inflammation, and medications for some people. We really try to approach it from a different perspective than just the traditional calorie and exercise approach. The typical package takes place over 8 weeks, includes 2, one on one, one hour sessions with educational tools and recommendations to walk away with and implement. In functional nutrition, we want to work in partnership with you to address the underlying causes of the symptoms and the health concerns that you’re experiencing. Your body has an internal environment, an internal terrain, so to speak. Working with you to shift the terrain and help you approach a place where you’re functioning as optimally as possible for you is our goal. The financial investment to get started is only $175.
