Aloha,
It’s officially September and today is beautiful!! And if I stop and think about it, it’s much like the weather of Kona, Hawaii in January! I’d like you to take a moment, as we approach the colder months and shorter daylight, to reflect on how challenging it can be to feel the weight of the Midwest's overcast skies and snow-covered or even icy landscapes. But imagine this: instead of enduring the dreariness of winter, you could plan ahead and be soaking up the sun on the beautiful shores of Kona, Hawaii! Here, the days stretch longer with about 11 hours of daylight, offering you more time to bask in the warm, golden rays. Kona’s temperatures, ranging from the mid-70s to low 80s, make it the perfect place to enjoy outdoor activities—from whale watching, lounging on pristine beaches to snorkeling in crystal-clear waters and exploring lush, tropical rainforests.

For those who feel the winter blues much like I do, Kona offers a rejuvenating retreat. It’s a sun-soaked escape where the vibrant natural beauty lifts your spirits, and the aloha spirit of the island helps you unwind and reconnect. Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast or simply in need of some R&R, Kona has it all. Mornings might be spent paddling alongside dolphins, afternoons hiking through the awe-inspiring landscapes of Volcanoes National Park, and evenings enjoying breathtaking sunsets.Â

Kona isn’t just a place of natural beauty; it’s also a hub for holistic healing. The island’s unique energy, rooted in its volcanic origins, creates an ideal environment for transformation. From traditional Hawaiian practices like lomi lomi massage and Ho’oponopono (Ho’oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness), to modern wellness modalities like yoga, Reiki, and sound healing, Kona offers a wide array of opportunities for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. The multiple facilitators at this retreat are diversified and will provide a variety of expertise, from fitness and nutrition to mindfulness and self-discovery. Â
At our upcoming wellness retreat, we’re dedicated to helping you feel your best, nurturing your mind, body, and spirit. We know that true wellness goes beyond physical health—it’s about reconnecting with yourself and rediscovering what it feels like to thrive. Our retreat is a sanctuary where you can pause, reflect, and rejuvenate. We provide you with the tools, guidance, and experiences that will empower you to take charge of your well-being, so you leave feeling inspired, revitalized, and ready to carry that sense of wellness into your everyday life.
On a personal note, during my recent break, I’ve reconnected with what I care about most. Finding our own power over our health. Know that I care and am putting a lot of thought into your once in a lifetime experience on this island. From grounding practices like connecting with nature, daily meditation and devotionals, to striving for fresher ingredients in the meals we will consume. My focus remains on providing you with science-backed, actionable tips that promote true wellness. I encourage you to join me in Hawaii this January —and eliminate distractions to focus on what truly matters: relationships, health, and having a positive impactful experience.
One of our main goals at this retreat is to form a community that embodies the spirit of aloha, allowing us to carry that sense of connection, kindness, and well-being home with us. Together, we’ll create lasting bonds and shared experiences that continue to uplift and inspire long after we leave Kona.

I’d like to thank you for the opportunity to help guide you toward a healthier, happier life. I’m excited to continue this work and share more with you soon.  If you’d like to sign up now and reserve your spot, please go to
With aloha,
Krista Kobel
